Cosmic Man

Since ancient times humankind has been fascinated by the mystery held in the skies. We have studied the Cosmos to help reveal something of our time on earth. From the tracking of different stars to define agricultural cycles, to understanding more about distant planets. The study of Astrology and the worshipping of the sun and moon, have all been taken very seriously.
In this piece a giant cosmic man is shown striding across the night sky. He is revealed in outline, similar to the great chalk images seen on hillsides in England ( The Long Man of Wilmington, East Sussex, and the Cerne Giant, Cerne Abbas, Dorset ). The cosmos is seen through him and around him like a giant reflection of humankind.
