St. Cadoc’s Church.

There was a monastery at or near this site from at least 650 A.D., founded by St. Cadoc or Cadog. By the 9th century Llancarfan was a flourishing centre of learning. It hosts amazing murals and wood carvings re-emerging from the late 15th century that were banished by the Reformation. A deep sense of community radiates from the sacred landscape surrounding this site.
