Title

Celtic Cat

This image was adapted from a design found on a bronze mirror from Holcombe, Devon in the late first century B.C. or early first century A.D. The Celtic use of animals in their designs is known as zoomorphic ornament, literally "of animal form." The cat has always had a special place in imagery for it’s suggested air of magic and mystery.
